5 Week Puppy and Basic Obedience Classes
You will learn how to:
- Use a clicker (see below) to tell your dog he has just done something good
- Learn how to communicate with your dog
- get your dog to want to listen to you
- get and keep attention
- train your dog to sit, down, stay, come, leave it, drop
- train your dog to walk nicely (or at least better) on a leash
- train your dog to wait at doors
- housetrain your dog (puppy class only)
- eliminate unwanted behavior
- read your dog's body language
The class length is 1 hour. Puppy class runs an additional 15 minutes for socialization time.
The class is limited to 4 dogs only and costs $200. It's held at It's a Dog's World, 593 Coney Island Avenue, between Beverley Road and Avenue C.
